I always liked the 1953 flick — Niagara– starring Marilyn Monroe as a cheating, plotting unhappy wife. In the film noir, Niagara Falls is the suspenseful backdrop to an emotional thriller.
The real deal is a truly amazing show starring water and gravity with some rocks thrown in as supporting cast.
I’ve been white water rafting a couple of times, but they were baby rapids compared to this. The Niagara River looks like the Colorado River in stretches!
The falls are mesmerizing and John and I spent hours meandering around the Niagara Falls State Park looking at them from multiple angles.
I particularly liked the rainbows that popped up unexpectedly when the sunlight and the water played harmoniously together.
