Slow Dancing at Fontainebleau

What’s your favorite fairy tale?

I gotta admit I’ve always been partial to Cinderella. But in my version, Cinderella finds herself at the ball and asks the Prince to dance. At least, that’s what I did today when John and I were visiting the Chateau de Fontainebleau. We found ourselves virtually alone in this magnificient ballroom. After all, February isn’t the height of the tourist season in France — which has its advantages. This Cinderella saw her opportunity and took it. With music tinkling in the background, I asked my prince to dance and he willingly obliged.

What a wonderful memory we created…slow dancing at Fontainebleau.
